So how long does it take Photoshop to open for you?

Mine's about the same but just installed PS CS3 and it loads a bit faster.

It completely depends on what plug-ins etc you have installed. But I have recently upgraded to CS3, and it is MUCH faster to load. About 10 seconds with all my plug-ins. CS2 took twice as long.

Mine doesn't take long at all about 10 seconds. CS3 loads up so much quicker.

Well, at least I need to restart the app after about 20 hours or so.. otherwise it muches up all the available ram..
And I always have music on, which starts to stutter if PS uses up 99% of my ram - not an effect you want for a long period of time (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue2.gif)

I find using a treadmill helps , as for opening up cs3 I would say seconds (IMG:style_emoticons/default/8824.gif)

@ home takes forever, but funny enough at work on a kak machine takes + - 3 seconds, Thing is im running vista at home and xp at work, must be vista (really made a big mistake installing that softwear)

about 15 -20 seconds

its on the same drive as windows. going to move it to its own drive and use it by its own on a smaller drive. give it a little freedom from the os might speed it up a bit...
