So my scanner on my all in one took a dump on me. Shame really, I wasn't wanting an excuse to get myself a DVD/CD capable printer (IMG:

So I was interested in an all in one that will print on DVDs. It appears that Epson is hard to beat, but they seem to know it judging by the price of their mid-line units. Comp USA right around the corner from my shop has an
RX580. It looks like the real deal, I want a flatbed so I can scan discs if I so choose, prints DVDs, and also has borderless 8.5X11 inch capability with a gaudy 5760 x 1440 optimized dpi with tiny 1.5 Picoliter droplet capability.
Epson also touts it as offering "Ultra High Definition Prints".
Any input on Epsons (never owned one, only HPs and IBMs way back in the day[Quietwriter III (IMG:

My current all in one lasted me about a year and a half, the printer still works great but I want the scan capability and DVD printability too, and I want one to go a bit longer than that. My old HP952 lasted me 5 years, and it cost me about $250 at the time. I don't really want to spend more than $200 if I don't have to, since I am almost out of my Taiyo Yudens (8X DVD+R, nothin but the best!!!) and cover cases, and will rack up another hundred dollars easily there within the next couple weeks, so budget is a concern.
Thanks in advance!!!
