WOW Homie, with that gear you HAVE to stop getting DVD's and go Blu-ray! That's the last piece you need to get superior PQ and advanced audio.

it's not because I'm anti Sony, it's because I'm patient. I 'll wait till the prices on both players and media drops to at least 50% of the current price.

Besides I have seen HD on my setup and honestly I weren't that impressed. Sure the image was a bit sharper, but the step up from dvd isn't exactly revolutionizing (ala vhs to dvd). For me HD will always be a niche product that only people with 100 or so inch screens will get the full enjoyment out of.

hold on. When you say you've seen "HD" are you talking about broadcast HD or Blu-ray? Cause I'm telling you they are two very different things. Please specify.
