I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right thread, my apologies if I'm in the wrong place.

This isn't exactly a technical question. Actually, I need some advice. I am currently working on The Wonder Years blu-ray covers. I just started the 4th season, and realized the legals have changed. As far as I can tell, this series doesn't actually have an official Blu-ray release, only DVDs. That said, I tend to like to have my legals as close to the retail version as possible. So, I just used the DVD cover legals, and slapped on a blu-ray logo in place of the DVD one. :ashamed:

Here is where I am running into my dilemma. The first 3 seasons had Starvista as the logo on the spine. I just realized that seasons 4-6 have a Time Life logo. Do I just keep going with the StarVista logos for consistency, or do I use the Time Life logos? Or should i go back, slap on Twentieth Century Fox logos on all of the spines, and call it a day?

I'm just curious what other designers would do.

This show has a ton of distributors lol. You could also use ABC logo on the spine, since thats the network the show originally aired. :)

Thanks guys and gal. I appreciate the advice. I will update the covers, and add a 20th Century logo to the spine. You aren't kidding. This show does have a tone of distributors. Makes it kind of confusing. I think you are right, keeping it simple is the best approach.

Same for me, whatever the number of different distributors.
Main production studio is the important choice, for me :p

I am a bit late to the party, but I agree you should just use 20th on them all :)

I'm glad this was resolved without needing my input since Baz keeps me at limited access most of the time lately

If by limited, you mean unlimited, you are correct :lsmile:
