Is there anyone who can direct me to a free version of an alternative to Akvis Sketch? I purchased the newest plugin version, but it won't run on my old iMac. Sadly, since I loved the old version I used to haveback in the day.
Today I tried to buy the standalone version, but to no avail and have asked for a refund, since they won't work.

@JR.. if all you wanna do is sketch, maybe look into the Art History Brush in Photoshop.

i did this in a few mins.. really comes down to what brush you use and how you configure it.

I have never been able to figure out how to use this tool. It just draws white patterns for me

Hahaha, what a difference between someone who knows what he's doing and someone who doesn't
PS: I'm clueless about this feature so Baz is better than me

make sure you open the History window and set the source for the art history brush.
then make a new layer and go nutty
