Hi Bricky, I will only be commenting on your scans. Please try to take these comments as constructive ones as I am not here to bash. I did take a look at your scans and in general there are some specks which can easily be removed by taking the time and cloning them out. You should also work on addressing the moire or noise (half tone dots). I think it is stated in the rules that the half tone dots should be removed from the scans. I know that it is a delicate line to remove the noise and still keep as much detail as possible. With time and practice this will come. On your "Mulan" cover, well it is really low res which has been upped to 300dpi. There are the tell tale ghost marks around the images and a lot of stray color noise.
I hope that you stay with it and take the time to try to work out these issues, don't give up.

your links are wromg, but had a look at your scans
aristocats is passable
kangoeroeland apart from the moire issue has 'black spots' which you should clone out
basil is the best of the bunch
fox and the hound has moire issues
kuzco has moire in the front, and lots of spots on the back. areas of light reflection next to the spine and looks like you forgot to place it correctly(whats that red band at the bottom?)
Mulan as miang says is low res-resized
pocahontas the fronts good but the back has moire issues
mickeys jack and the beanstalk is ok but needs the dust ect cleaning up

it looks to me as if these are not your scans but scans you have converted to slim cases.

theres a tutorial on site that you should read, that will help get your scans up to basic standard

hi, thanks for the replies.

i did not know that there was so much trouble goin on with the covers
i usualy print them and it looks good coming out the printer.
is it wise to take them out and upload again when i finish cleaning them up

these are indeed not my own scans, but i modified them to slimcase.

will surely take a look at the tutorial, and will read more before posting new ones.

i might become a professional after all :)

I would remove them, and try the guys advice. Once you have finished them, create a new prove yourself thread. :) In the mean time, if you have any problems, make sure you make the most of the WIP. I am going to close this thread now, so if you have any questions, please PM me. :thumb:
