There's still a bit of work to be done on this one before it's ready for WIP input, but I figured starting a thread might motivate me to actually finish it.

The text feels pretty solid, so now it's mostly a matter of the cutouts -- especially on the right -- coloring, and some stylizing.

(The movie is in color, but the limited stills are mostly b&w.)

He has a black eye at that point, but maybe it's better without it?

I think aesthetically it is better without the black eye, but I haven't seen the movie. So maybe if it is relative it should stay?

Your type choices are always so good! Maybe you could add the slightest of colour to the shadows, so a hint of brown underneath him as shadows do tend to have a tiny bit of colour in them.

Also, I think it looks better without the black eye.

I ended up replacing the hillside background, so this one might not be as much work as originally anticipated. A little more progress:

Is his face a little dark though? The cars, floor and his hands look like they are more exposed

I'm with Bazz about the tone of his face. I'd say it needs some more levels and light.

The colors of the two cars are very cool.

What about a slight inner shadow for the title? Not around every border but maybe something at the bottom of the letters?

Not sure if I'm wrong because it seems it's the original image but shoudln't the yellow car on the left be moved down a bit? The front tires should nearly be on one horizontal line, shouldn't they?

Hurry up so you're done until tuesday. This will be CotM then fore sure.
