It completely depends on the logo. Can you post the logo so we can see please?

sorry i can not think of any other way to show you the logo's i mean, but i would like to just know the method for doing it so i can do it to any of the logo's in this download. do they need to be in a certain format i.e. psd or ESP

what you need to do is covert the image from a background to a raster layer, (right click on the backgrond in the layer palette and click 'layer from background'.
then use the 'magic wand' or cut around the image by freehand, leaving just the logo on a transparency. be carful cutting around the image tho because left over bits will look messy.

Or if you ask nicely and mention which logo/s you may require, someone may already have them and might be willing to share with you :D

Give a man a fish and feed him for a day.

Teach a man to fish and feed him for life.

But the easy way is sometimes the best.

see now i have to agree with Leo1963.
that way i can edit which ever ones i like and will not have to keep bugging some one to help me.
i still am not sure you understand what i am trying to achive, i am trying to get it so as when i put the logo onto a label it looks like the logo is made of glass so you can see through it but it disstorts the background.
any ideas please.
thanks for all your help so far
