I'm back to attempting to improve one of my old covers. Here is what it looks like now.

And here is what I have so far. I tried picking a background color that matches the front better, but I don't know if it's working. Also not sure what to do with those screen shots. Any advice is appreciated!

The back looks too flat at the moment. You could try and introduce a texture similar to the one on the front for it to match better?

I wasn't sure how to match that texture exactly, so I added some uniform noise and then put a gaussian blur on that. Is it better?

Is there any reason as to why you're not using a template? I feel the WB template would make it look a lot better and give more structure to it.
I'm not sure on what the resources are like but you could make a stills row and maybe have one larger image towards the top?
For the synopsis, try using a font similar to "Directed by George Cukor"

There is no real reason that I am not using a template other than the fact that I just never have. How does this look? (I know I still have to adjust some of the items in the template)

Much Better IMO

Yup, the template makes a big difference. I know you are still making changes, but try and reduce that synopsis font size too

Thanks for all the help. I'm thinking this is done, unless anyone has any further comments?

Personally, I would reduce the text more. Maybe increase the image and do something like this. It is your cover though, so you do what you feel happy with
