I would suggest reading the rules before applying
Prove Yourself Guidelines and Requirements
• You must be a recently active member making regular contributions over several weeks, without rejections in approvals, in order to apply for contributor status.
Just keep at it tho, and you'll be able to apply within i couple of weeks i reckon
