This weeks featured designer is ubl6612!

Please join us in celebrating ubl6612 by posting one or more of your favourite covers they have made thus far.

It doesn't matter if the cover has already been posted by someone else.

Many of you will not be aware of ubl6612, but he used to be a member of the staff here, and an excellent designer. A stickler for perfection, he has some great work in his collection.

My favourite of all is that one (colors and front, fits perfectly to the movie, one of my all-time favourite)

and the second one:

This one have all too, considering that is an old one, and, by definition, less of HiRes materials to work with.

You've made me discovered this great designer, yes...

A lot of words come to my mind when I'm looking at my favorite cover of ubl6612, Vanilla Sky: eerie, beautiful, dreamy, abstract, puristic, with a little hint of tech. Been a long time since I have seen the film, but I know for sure that the front artwork is absolutely spot-on! Also love the subtle gradient as well as the B/W image on the back.

Next, there is this nice composition of 50% imagery/50% type for The Knight's Tale. I fancy the overall color tone scheme (warm brown and cold blue/grey), the texture and the use of a well-lit promo shoot.

Much like Vanilla Sky, there's a similar abstract front artwork for Revolutionary Road. And although I'm not that much into double exposure images anymore as I used to be some years ago, I will def give credit to this one as it was kinda ahead of its time back then in 2010 ;)
