I rushed this one to get in by the HiResChallenge deadline and wanted to finish it a little better.
It's still not quite
there, but I'm pretty happy overall. Created with screen captures:

As it's already been said youi've created another stunning cover.
It's always amazing to see what you're able to do with nearly nothing. The composition on your front looks perfect to me, the four heads are leading the eye from the top left corner diagonally to the bottom right.
I personally prefer your HRC entry with it's more popping colors and the higher brightness.

Thanks, guys! I really appreciate your comments and am glad this one had some fans and might try a couple more titles in this style at some point.

It was a tough a trade-off, because I love bright colors, but it still felt a bit like just a collection of pasted pieces. Tightening up the colors and bringing in more atmosphere hopefully connects everything better.

I should have sent a message to Paris -- he's studied a lot of montage styling and probably would have had a suggestion to unite everything while keeping the boosted colors -- or even waited and done a WIP thread on here after the challenge finished, but you know how it is when you get in a mood to work on a cover.
Also, on the original I did an over-the-top red for the skin tones which, every time I opened the cover, alternated between looking like the intended mystical effect versus looking like three overheated hams.
