This weeks featured designer is bpmford!

Please join us in celebrating bpmford by posting one or more of your favourite covers they have made thus far.

It doesn't matter if the cover has already been posted by someone else.

It is a great shame that bpmford is not designing covers any more, as he used to make some incredibly unique designs and won a few awards in his time.

However, we are lucky enough to have over 400 covers and labels in our gallery, which include his famous Awards Collection, that showcase his great talent.

To share a cover from the gallery, just click the 'copy' icon, in the file information, and paste it into your reply.

Here are three of my favourites:

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (2005)

Splice (2009)

Catch Me If You Can (2002)

Some of the best covers go beyond creating a nice image and make you think, "Wow, the designer seems to like this movie so much, it must be something special!" Even if the movie -- or even the design itself -- isn't your usual style, the excitement on display is just too contagious. Looking as his gallery again, Bpmford's movie picks and design styling are all over the place, and so much of it works so well because of the talent and honest enthusiasm he's able to bring.

One exciting thing about Bpmford's covers was/is his tendency to defy conventions, like shaking up the canvas on his early cover for Pandorum:

Not content to just shake up the canvas, he cut it up as well on his Batman collection:

When you're trying something different, it's very helpful if you can find a way of conveying that you know what you're doing, like by savoring all sorts of little details. His cover for Going the Distance is a great example of this:

And, of course, there's the story of how he made his own font to complete his Cover Site Battle Royal-winning design for The Artist:

Congrats on being designer of the week bpmford!

This is a truly stunning cover in my opinion, brilliant design idea and execution, the glass looks amazing as well. All in all a superb cover and a very worthy winner of the HRC.

Fantastic work creating a journal type of look with the paper textures. Awesome idea using the island as a silhouette and great job on the characters on the front. The back is also looking great with and the text has a really hand written feel to it, looks very realistic.

There's not much to work with for this cover, but I must say that you did a very impressive job, the green and brown colors work great together. Great work on the background of the front as well and the template as a whole. Great work with the ropes :)
