Wysmommy is awesome! Her ability to enhance a standard photograph through adjustments and filters is second to none! When I first saw her sketch effects, I was so inspired and tried my best to mimic her techniques, but was never able to master it the way that she can. Unlike myself, she is an astoundingly humble artist that never seeks out fame, glory or praise for her work. She uploads her designs and just lets the love bloom naturally... yet another thing I'm trying to learn from her.
I'm so glad Bazzah selected her for this week's Designer of the Week. There's so much to adore in her gallery! Since
Who Framed Roger Rabbit and
Goosebumps would also have been some of my go-to covers, here are few of my other favorites from wysmommy...
What's New, Scooby-Doo? Season 1
I've loved Scooby-Doo since I was 3 years old and wysmommy's cover is a pure delight! A beautiful blend of classic Hanna-Barbera style, colorful Pop Art, and vintage Harvey Comics covers... her designs for this series just make me smile when looking at them.
Minions
My two-year-old son loves this movie and after about 30 viewings, it's grown on me as well. What didn't take me 30 viewings to appreciate is wysmommy's incredible work on this cover... this one was a masterpiece at first glance! Excellent use of color, textures, imagery, and layout... everything about this design just shines. While she might make a lot of covers for kids' movies, there is absolutely nothing childish about her talent, skills, and dedication to making a truly professional and polished piece of art.
Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse
One of my favorite horror comedies of the last few years! This well-deserved COTM winner is an absolute joy to behold, especially when zooming in on the full-res version! So many exquisite little touches... my favorite is the notebook drawings of the Scout Badges on the back cover! I also can't forget to mention her always-exceptional use of filters and adjustments to create an illustrated effect with photographs. The front keyart of this cover just pops with detail and texture! Simply stunning!
Congratulations, wysmommy! Thank you for your talents and inspiration!

Wysmommy's trademark style is so distinctive and joyful. Even on darker titles, she brings a brightness that's so well done and just fits.
The builds she creates are frequently complex, but they never feel cluttered. It's such a skilled balancing act.
Two of my favorite things here are when you can look at a cover and think...
A: "Wow, this designer really likes this show/movie!"
B: "Only one person could have possibly made this!"
...and Wysmommy is a champion of both.
It's exciting when someone picks a somewhat obscure title with really tough resources and hits a home run, which Wysmommy did for
Real Genius:
Her entire lineup of TV covers is incredible, but
New Girl comes to mind as a particularly ideal match to Wysmommy's talents:

Well this was really hard to choose, wysmommy always produces high quality work and the effects she uses are so unique and look so great.
The Secret Life of Pets:
I really like what she has done with this cover, incorporating the TT onto the wall works so well with the whole layout. The back manages to fit a lot of information into it without feeling cramped and the colours used throughout really make the front and the back tie in with each other.

wys has such an unique style and she puts so much effort in to her covers, so it's really hard to only pick three favs.
All around a stunning cover, the attention to detail here is insane. From the barcode to the player on the front, awesome design!
A truly awesome cover, again the attention to detail is amazing no wonder it is a COTM winner!
Another great cover with a great design. I really like how the red you added to it, gives it more of "Grimm" feeling
