Could someone help me as i have forgotten how to do this



In that image i have used stroke path but i cant remember how i got the fade effect on the brush part could someone tell me how i done it please

Use a soft brush when applying the stroke

yeah i do that but i mean how i got it to fade at each starting point of the line

Looks like you have used "outer glow" filter and then used soft erasing tool with 100 opacity on the start of the lines

Like this:


PS: you can change the opacity of eraser as you like.

i didnt use the eraser tool im sure that it was to do with the brush tool settings but i can't remember how to do it, i now how i done the outerglow but im talkin about when i use the stroke path bit i set the brush to do something so it fades each side but i definatly didn't use the eraser

With your brush selected go to your brush panel and select brush dynamics
now when you apply stroke path make sure silmulate pressure is on
and voila a pointy end to the path

i don't have brush dynamics all i have are these options

above that in your menu bar, u shoulh have a slider that say opasity, slide that to whatever degree of firmness you want from your brush.

yes that was my mistake you have to use the shape Dynamics
by control mine is on pen pressure
