The scans look good but seems like he/she is wanting to become a contributor so they can continue to download artwork for free.

I checked the uploads compared to the amount of downloads and he/she has uploaded 60 items (59 covers and 1 label) but downloaded 3670 covers/labels.

Sadly that is the system sauron... soon as they get access the uploads will stop or drop to the minimum of a few per year.

Indeed it is, just thought I would bring it up just in case there was any reasoning for not being accepted :)

I think it should be but currently it is not.

The rules are clear if you do this you get that, there should be some kind of limit or out for the site to optionally use if we feel it's warranted to slow or stop this kind of behavior.

Like contributors must maintain a minimum upload-download ratio or some other guideline to allow us to deny access based on abuse of the free downloads.

I agree but I suppose we have to go with what the rules are at the moment.

I'm afraid that is the crux of it.

I'm not a fan of Blu-ray.com pastes being called Scans, and this user appears to put very little time or effort into generating them.

On Dumbo UHD, they use the slip cover front and, rather than cropping off the top 4K banner for a semi-acceptable replica of the real cover, they've just squashed everything. The spine is not at all close to the retail spine.

On American Crime Story - Season 1, the Blu-ray.com back is from a slipcase with the barcode and plastic peeking through the window. And, again, the spine uses an improperly re-sized version of the title.

It's worth considering a separate category for these quick builds called something like "Placeholders" and not counting them toward upload statistics, to see whether the people doing them are genuinely trying to be helpful or just looking to pad their numbers.

Meanwhile, Equalizer 2 UHD, Starship Troopers UHD, The Girl On The Train UHD, and others look like fairly okay actual scans, which leads me to assume they've been taken from someone else.

I'm fairly sure Spider-Man Into The Spider Verse UHD isn't even based on a retail cover, it's just from someone's bootleg. (Red flags include the bar code, the credits, and no mention of special features).

I really don't think the same person who made those subpar Blu-ray.com builds is responsible for the few seemingly legitimate scans in there.

My vote would be they made nothing, probably everything is re-posts gathered from other sites.

Just a FYI this member is currently a subscriber, so my guess is this is just a attempt to keep from re-subscribing and gain free access.
