This time, things will be slightly different to our previous competitions. Corky
noticed we have a lot of labels in the gallery, that do not have a matching
cover. So, this time, the competition is to design a cover which has an existing
label in the gallery, but no custom covers. It is ok if there is a scanned
cover, to match a custom label. If you would like to enter, please let me know.
Judging will be done by a poll.
Ok - we scraped that idea. Any cover from any time - as long as it has been released on DVD (No cinema releases). Rest of the rules still apply ;)
Cover competition rules:
------------------------

1. ANY member from the site may take part
2. Covers must be up to site standard (see site rules)
3. Your chosen cover must be released on DVD.
3. Your cover may have NO custom in the gallery, but may have a scan.
4. Poster art may be used, for images, but each must be no more than 20% of the
total cover size.
5. You may not post your covers for help, in this forum, or any other. All
work must be done by yourself, without any assistance. Anyone
found doing so will be disqualified.
6. Covers must be submitted by <st1:date Month="10" Day="11" Year="2006" w:st="on">
the 10th February 2007</st1:date>.
7. All entries should be emailed to [email protected], with your member
name clearly stated. I will then upload the covers anonymously to the site for
voting. (Voting will be done by a poll, voted on by the members of the site)
8. You may only submit one entry each.
9. Admin reserves the right to withdraw the competition at any time, and/or
disqualify anyone for breaching the rules.
I'm in!
It would help if you or another mod/admn/management/ could post here a list with all the possible entries. Is this possible?

Started going through some labels, first I looked for ones that interested me, then searched for covers, then thought of variations someone might use for naming, got frustrated, went back and looked for labels that seemed likely not to have a cover made for, found some, searched for covers, was wrong most times, they had covers, found some that didn't, pondered over the 6 labels i had to pick from, realized I had mis-spelled a movie title in a search cause I was looking at the label, searched again, found cover, got annoyed cause that was the only label that even slightly interested me, started looking through labels again, then realized, I don't have to do this.

LMAO - Well put! Ok, so how about this time round, we just say any cover from any time? Just keep the 20% poster art rule?
