Well i was curious witch movie collers software u guys do use? And witc one would be the best.
I have used 3 types of softwares but none of them are exactly what i want;
My Movies (Media Center Edition):
Well the looks are great, And very easy to input the movies. But when u insert a lot of movies its becaming very slow.
Movielabel:
Well, is a easy to use software, but looks terrible, just like outlook. Stays fast even after 300+ movies. but the scrolling thing is annoing
Movie Collector:
Well, looks cheap, but easy to use...
maby some of u got a good tip? Would love to hear it

it all depend s on how much you want to catalogue your collection,i used to use movie collector, but if you let a few films build up,then its hassle retrieving the info, making sure its the right one, added them ect...
i just gave up in the end.got tooooooooooo many dvds(about 700 ish)
now i just look through the boxes and boxes of dvd's while me and the mrs argue over what to watch..then we decide its too late and watch the tv instead !!

I use DVD Profiler (
hxxp://www.intervocative.com/)
It's rather easy to use, and I find it easy to add movies (you can just smack in the UPC-code and you're sure it's the correct version.)
You can get a free key to it but you can also pay for it and you get some extra stuff (as I've understood it).
You also get a little webpage with your collection

DVD Profiler is the way to go IMO. I have used it for several years and it does all I have ever wanted from a collection software.
Try it out.

Yes, that does sound very familiar.

And Profiler 3 is definitely the way to go. The new version adds a lot to the interface of an already awesome program. Another promising one I've been playing with is Mediaman (clone of the mac proggy delicious library).
