I’m wondering how other feel about uniform meaningful data names. I know a lot of sites just use just a numeric number or just the first characters and a number for names. I know naming schemes like this were originally used because of the DOS, I don’t think there are many of them still in use. Most of the Data names I found on Hi-Res are pretty good but there are a few with just numeric names mostly in the posters section, and should be address now while the site is still relative new.
I think this would be a good subject for a Poll
A meaningful data name should include the movie title, Category, a 2 digit version number, Language or Region Code (Optional), Artist name (Optional), and Artist (Description Optional), for all New files uploaded.
Example:
Silent Hill Case02 Skally Revised
The Wild – Cover01 Swedish CyborClown Custom
Battlestar_Galactica - S2 D1 Label Venom
Zorro Poster02
Zoro Still01
Ok hear your Comments.
