Link masks script

Does anyone have a script that links each layers mask? It's a pain when you try an move groups around, that have lot's of layers inside, and some of the layers masks aren't linked.

Can't you just combine the layers into a smart object? You won't lose the ability to later adjust the various layers, and you get the benefit of lessening the amount of visible layers, making it easier to 'navigate' through your PSD, if you understand my meaning.

It isn't always as simple as that. If you have a couple of hundred layers, with many of them with layer effects etc, you can't always make them into smart objects. Plus I am really messy and disorganised with all my layers

Something to brush up upon then.

You might consider going with smart objects, even creating them off-Cover PSD, then place the smart objected layers into your working PSD. The effect of navigating your PSD much faster is crucial when working on a business-schedule (or in your case, in between pints Saturday nights)

I do use smart objects I probably have about 50 in my current cover
