Hehe, I noticed you said you didn't want to "outright copy" the retro blu-ray covers you've seen, but I must say you did a pretty good job copying the VHS one tho :p . All jokes aside, it feels really flat, there's almost nothing there. It kinda reminds me of one of these empty picture books I had as a child, where you glue on a sticker or photo you like. It's all fine if you want to copy the VHS version, but I don't think it looks any good, it's simply too simple and not in a good way. I bet there is tons of inspiration you can find in the gallery, to make your very own template.
PS: If you're doing these as part of trying to get you'r status back, you should know that according to the rules: "• Minimalistic covers will not be considered for Contributor status".

Looking good, I personally would remove the drop shadow on the TT.

Ha I have changed it up a bit. amd I dont even care about the status anymore its not worth it to me when I have over 200 covers on here. Ill try to upoad the newer version though

Im a vhs cover fan the simplicity was so much better then. that all the flashy stuff they try now days

Alright buddy :) May i suggest a old paper texture instead of just a pure white background? Are you planing on using posters on the front or are you making your own posters? If you are using the same frame size for the posters as the VHS has, you might end up with a lot of empty space on both sides of the front, are you planing on filling them with something?

It looks better, but the synopsis could defiantly use some work and I'm also sticking to my other suggestions. I also agree with the others about the drop shadow on the Tarzan logo.

You ought to adjust the kerning of the synopsis. As is you have huge gaps in between words, which doesn't complement your otherwise fine reproduction style.

If you want a drop shadow on the TT it should be as hard as the one used on the Disney logo on the front IMO, but I think you should leave it out entirely. The first letter 'I' should be CAPITAL in the synopsis, like the 'A' on the VHS cover.

The line around the front image, and the stills on the back would look better in black IMO.
