Trying to go for some retro VHS/modern superhero movie fusion :D What you pros think so far? :) I using a doll as the main character. Does it show?

I like it, and it doesn't look like a doll at all. It does have a retro feel to it :) Maybe you could make some adjustments to the levels/curves to make it pop a little more though.

Very nice work, definitely not noticable that the main image is a toy.. my only suggestion is the title on the spine is quite hard to read.

Good start m8. :)

I guess you want that retro color? I'd add some more light behind the guy on the top right so he is more separated from the background. At the moment it's hard to notice him. You could brighten up the faces of both men on top as well.

On Robocop himself you could use the camara raw filter to get a higher clarity and bring out some more details and reduce the saturation on his face to match both of the other guys.

And as sauron has suggested brighten up the title, but I think you should do with both on front and spine.

Tried to make Robo pop a little more and lightened the others faces. Also lightened the title (don't mind the spine yet). Better? :)

That looks better :) How about boosting the details some more? (I cheated with this example using Topaz adjust - Detail Strong)

P.s Can you please keep your preview images to a maximum size of 1000px?

Thanks for the feedback! Made it more detailed with Topaz. Thanks for the tip! And sorry about the size :)

Looking good but I feel it looks a bit too yellow/greenish... Try adjusting the colours to remove this... something along these lines?

What sauron said and I still think you should lighten up the area behind the guy on the top right some more.
