Watched this movie for the first time a few days ago and was completely amazed. Decided to strike while the iron is hot and began collecting resources. It turned out to be quite difficult finding useful stuff for the less prominent characters, and so far I've spent A LOT of time including them all. Here's a cut-out from a poster:

"Borrowed" the name tags and used it on my cover as I think they add a little extra quirkiness. I plan to add other elements from the movie (the perfume, Mendl's boxes etc.), but haven't gotten that far yet. Also thinking about a frame.

Please feel free to comment :)

Another update. It's a bit bottom heavy but will try to compensate/fix that.

Great back ground texture and the frame looks good :) But is Agathas face ment to look like that or did you go a bit strong on the effects?

Thanks for the feedback, samppa. Was starting to feel like I was talking to myself...

Agatha's face is covered with flour. It's a screen from the bakery.

Sorry buddy, you've posted tonight and I just got home from work. ;)

I love your collages, they're looking fantastic every new cover! Even if it's flour Agatha's face is covered with I personally think there are some more faces with a to strong filter-effect (M. Chuck, Dimitri and maybe Madame D.).

And maybe you could add some wrinkles to M.Gustave's shirt? With the filter on it it just looks like a white area, especially unter the box with his name on it.

It's amazing how you manage to fit so many characters on your covers, not only do they fit, they look amazing as well, all the placements. I agree about some might have a little too much effect on atm tho.

Thanks for your comments, guys. I have reduced some of the filtering, but still have more work on the characters. Needed a break from the front so moved on to the spine and back. Plan is to place the logos on the ribbon and make a custom spec and legals area.
