Hello all!!!
Well, not only am I back making covers... I have decided to throw my latest project into WIP here to get the assistance of all my HiRes friends!
The Mist is my absolute favourite thriller movie, even more so because the Blu-ray comes with a second version entirely in black and white... hence the cover colour. I have had a cover started for this for many years, but only now have come up with a deign I actually like.
I have mostly done the front, but am still unsure if it needs something else or different. I tried adding a tag line at the bottom, but didn't really like it....
Thoughts?

I always love seeing a BPM cover, so it makes me happy you are back posting

This looks great! How would it look with a subtle amount of colour on Thomas Jane and the boy? Or just on the TT?

Nice start buddy

! Maybe try to make the principal character a bit bigger and centered him. Also put the car in second plan maybe b'ur him just a bit make a bit smaller so the focus will go directly on the main character ?
You can add some fog, smoke un front of character

Thanks guys for the comments!! This is awesome!
xshoty... so, I played around with your recommendations, and came up with this. The main character is bigger, but the car is the same size. Since the bottom of the car image is at the actual bottom of the cover, it looked funny making the car smaller without being able to bring it up some... It messed with the perspective. I left it in focus too, as I have set it so where he is standing is at the front bumper, so they would both be in focus.
With all that being said, as soon as I made the main character bigger, Immediately liked it much better, so thank you for mentioning that!!!!!
It's funny you mention the fog below, as I originally had fog there, but didn't like it. My idea was that it isn't in front of them, because they are ahead of it (or at least trying to be).
Baz! I know!!! I'm happy to be back doing these too!... So, here was my initial idea for some front colour. The bloody hand is directly from the movie, and I made it so the blood drips down the TT and pools at the bottom of the 'M'... Thoughts? I am not sure if I love it yet or not

Oh, and I also had an original idea to make the background lighter at the monster and the TT darker... This makes the TT stand out more (it also makes the hand stand out more).
Let me know which one you guys like better, this one, or the one from post #4.

Okay, last update for a bit... I will leave these three ideas with you all to comment on
Here is a bit more added colour on the characters. I also added in the spine while I tinkered with the front more... I am still open to opinions on the lighter or darker upper front, as well as the bloody hand.
Cheers

Thanks xshoty!!!... Yea, I'm not convinced on the hand yet either! haha
As for the back, I haven't even tried thinking of ideas, but will start tinkering when I'm happy with the front and spine.

I like this a lot, it is also one of my favourites.
The hand is a good addition, but what about trying it on top of the 'I'

I really like your third version, but I too am not 100% about the hand. How would it look dripping behind the TT?
