A tough theme this month, which resulted in just two entries. They were both great entries, but unfortunately Tronhitman came up against Kernie, which is going to be a big challenge for anyone. Congratulations Kernie on another HRC title under your belt, and congratulations Tronhitman for an excellent challenging entry.

1. Kernie - 437 points

Nicely done by Tronhitman -- you held better than I did against Kernie one-on-one in a HRC.

And, congratulations to Kernie. This film has enjoyed a very narrow scope of advertising over the years, and you brought a tremendous amount of revitalizing new energy and enthusiasm to your cover.

Thank you everyone for the kind words and a big tip of the hat to Tronhitman for being such a worthy competitor. Thank you for joining me in paying tribute to the incredible career and legacy of director Wes Craven... and a splendid cover as well! :D :D :D

Thanks, BD! You're absolutely right... very limited promotional materials and pretty much just that one poster (the extreme close-up of Drew Barrymore's scared face) to advertise this film (and not much more creativity for the sequels). But I tried to draw inspiration from Scream Factory's wonderful custom artwork (click here) for their horror releases, which always make me want to buy the blu-ray even I don't care for the film itself! :D

Is there any interest for similar treatment of the Scream sequels? If not, this will probably be a one-shot cover for the first film.
