I've been wanting to design a horror cover for a while, and Carrie has always been on my list. The TT is taken directly from a poster, so it is temporary. I will retrace it with the pen tool for hard edges. I will make the background like the background of the prom wall at the dance scene, so that might take some time. I have been struggling with the TT placement. I really like the original TT, but with the "R" covered up, it reads "CADRIE". I want to keep the TT in the top half of the cover, but placement is getting tricky.

I am only planning on making the front/spine then I will see if another designer wants to collab and finish the back. :)

I think you can definitely go smaller with the title - just enough to move it slightly and reveal that 'R'. Keep at it nike :)

Thanks Venome! :D I tried it and going smaller made it harder to read. I put the TT on top of Carrie. I'm trying to think of something for the names. Do you guys any font suggestions?

Take a whack at it, Ark! ;) And I'm glad you're on the ball for our collab. :)

This looks like it's on the way to greatness, Paris!

Moving the title down was a very smart choice, the pieces seem to fit together really well.

Depending on the rest of the composition, maybe you could make Carrie (the woman, or the woman and the title) just ~5% bigger to fill out some of the extra top and bottom space?

For your names, the heavy Gotham might be a bit too modern paired with the style of the title treatment. Do you think something like 1973's Friz Quadrata could do the trick? Or maybe Helvetica with some tight kerning would work?

Thanks for the feedback, guys! Here's an update. I still haven't had time to work on the background

Lovely! :thumb:

I think you could shrink the font-size of the actor's names, and spread the names out a little further.
