Hey, i have a technical question...Since two weeks i have a new printer (Epson XP-615) and when i print my covers i'm disapointed, because my covers are to dark. Could anyone tell me whats the settings for an ident result between screen and paper?

I don't know how to do...I know there are color shems to do, but i don't know how. At the printers settings are many things i could do, but what is the right to come to an good result.

EXACTLY what settings are you using in the printer properties and what settings are you using in your software (ie Photoshop or other). Let's take this step by step.

Hi bluesnow, did'nt solve it, but forget about it at the moment. At Ps cc i selected "colormanagment by Photoshop" (this is what i found out), before i choosed by printer...
Then there are many profiles to choose at the printer settings ( Epson sRGB, e RGB, ....)

If you're going to use "Photoshop Manages Colors" then you must turn off color management in the printer. You can do this by selecting "Properties" in the print dialog box, then select the "Advanced" tab. Look for "ICM" and select it. You should then see a check box for "Off (No Color Adjustment". Select this. This will prevent the printer from adjusting colors after PS has already adjusted them. You need to select a Printer Profile in PS which matches your printer and the paper you're using. The rendering intent is normally the default "Relative Colorimetric" unless you're working in some odd color space. See if this helps your issue before we get any deeper.

Hey, i did all the settings how you write to me, but it's still to dark. I got no idee what i could do!
When we go to the start what did i choose for the document? RGB or CYMK? Is there an difference in the printing result?
Sry, the whole time, i print with the canon ip 4700, it was no problem and now it's so different ;(
