My name is Christian, 28 years old and I am from a small town near Nuremberg/Germany.
Round about two years ago I became particularly interested in designing custom covers. Amongst two other boards I became a member of the biggest german board
In the beginning I had no idea, how to use photoshop. Step by step and assisted by some other designers i learned how to use this incredible software and started to create my own covers.
In retrospect I must admit that some of the early ones are really looking ugly. :tomato: But i guess, this is a problem of everybody else, too (at least i hope so...
). Until now I only made german customs (of course) and I would like to show you some of my works. Where can I do this? Here in this topic?Why I have registered here now?
In Germany we have i big problem, I guess. A few years ago we had many goog designers. But gradually one by one stopped creating covers. Now there is only a handful left behind.
But I want to learn more, discover new technics, I want to devolpe myself further.
What I have seen so far, hires is the home of many very good and very talented designers. So I am sure, I will have the possibility to improve myself here at hires.
At the moment me and my girlfriend are building our own house so there isn't so much time left to follow my hobby.
But for my next cover (whatever it will be) I will open an WIP here.
This is my first time on an english board. So I hope my junior high school english is good enough...
