Hi Donobieus
Thanks, No custom covers but plenty of scans which should be up to par but scans can be a real b*tch to get right.
I should mention before someone asks "are these yours" that these are up at Gen under HelloShaun (hence the HS part), why I have a diff username here I can't answer, just fancied a change I suppose.
This scan was using the box cover so had to cover it with black cloth to shut out extra light and scan in its 3 parts (keeping the spine upright is so much fun!), then reworked to a standard case size, correction was awkward as the original has that pressed 3d effect.

That's no problem I can repost without the holes.
Edit: I've just noticed that that cover is not the finished item, a few minutes to find the correct one.
Edit: That's better.

labels look good, but unable to comment on the scan, can you upload it full size 3240x2175 to image shack(or the like-will need to be under 1.5 mb)and post a forum thumbnail here?
can get a closer look then thanks.

let me just say firstly that this advice comes from getting a lot of scans past filmboy!! (he's as bad as HVB )
pretty good, personally i would have lined up the spine with the front(where the rivets follow through)and on a cover like that i would have made a inverted selection around the ratings area..to keep the writing sharp while adding the gausian blur.theres also some 'white' spots/blurs in the black which should be cloned out.
the biggest problem is the credit block..its a pain in the arse when they intrude into an image.personally i would select around it and try a 'unsharp mask',but if it didn't help i would leave it.if filmboy rejects it then i would clone/paint the credit block out and type in the credits by hand ....sometimes its the only way,as you cant read the bloody things.
hope this advice helps.but your labels definately get my vote.
