I understand the rules of the comp but i think it would have been wiser to suggest a main title, with this title making sure there's not enough hi-res material around for it.......... then you get the best out of the artists who's ideas really shine.......like the comp over at euphoric not so long ago they chose the lord of the flies and there was some amazing styles and variations of dvd covers that turned up from that comp.
When stating it must be a dvd title pre 2000 you may end up with designs which are thrown together because of the hi-res material available for them, the whole object of a competition is to make the artists think and come up with something very origional.
Just my piont of view.
But count me in anyways

Well imo, if you class yourself as one of the better artists, then choose an older title, it you are a relative newbie and not very confident then choose a newer title, that way it will tax everybody's expertise. The judges that do the judging will be aware of everybody's limitations, so I feel this might be an idea to consider
