I started this after a request from my friend and would like to hear your opinions to it:

The spanning spine is cool :) as for the back of the first twilight, for me doesn't really work to be honest. I would grab a template and build up from there (and maybe use that layout on all covers) perhaps cut some lines from the synop., or maybe it looks longer than it is? Just my thoughts :)

The template will be the same on all covers. Ok, than I try to rebuild the back. That was a first try. To be honest, I allways have problems with a good backdesign :D

I agree, the spanning spine looks great, and although the front is a bit plain it still works. The back for me isnt great at the mo. I think it needs more detail, theres loads of resources for these movies so dont try and fill the back with as little as possible.

lookin forward to seein these progress

cheers

The top half is better, i think, everything below: the pic of the 3 ppl. and credits just don't do it for me. I think if you want to "create a template" for the other movies, you must really make version one work, to be able to incorporate future versions to blend with the first version (still makes sense?)

No problem with keeping it 'minimal', but i still miss some logo's, audiopart etc. the lower-back-layout could really benefit from some more attention, and that would be more then helpfull (and even easier maybe) for the other versions to make a complete set.

Sorry if my explanation sounds bad, don't mean it like that, i'm not the best teach around ;)

I agree this looks better!

Is there any texture to the black area?
