Thanks to an incredible amount of enthusiasm and support, last year's Cover Site Battle Royal was a very exciting event.
This year will be even better.
This time, we're running things from each participating site's forum. Rally up support for your friends on here, spy on your competitors in their forums, and, most importantly, have fun as we all join together for the Cover Site Battle Royal: Year 2!
How does it work?
This thread has been created on each of the 7 participating sites. I will check each thread weekly, on Mondays, and attempt to give everyone equal attention. Updates will also be announced on Facebook and MRCovers.com.

Tuesday, January 10th: Introduction
Monday, January 23rd: Potential films announced
Monday, February 6th: Judging system explained
Monday, February 20th: Final discussions and preparations
Monday, Febrary 27th: Titles are announced, and the competition begins!
Monday, March 5th: Site representatives must be finalized
Monday, March 19th: Deadline for designers to send in their covers
Sunday, March 25th: Facebook "Favorite Design" vote, based on front cover previews
Monday, March 26th: Deadline for judges to send in their scores
Tuesday, March 27th: The Facebook poll closes, scores are calculated, and our champion is announced!

This week: The Discussion Begins!
Each site may choose up to 3 designers and 4 judges. Site owners may choose these representatives however they like. If you are interested in participating, let them know! Representatives do not have to be finalized until one week after competition begins, so you can back out if necessary.
Designers:
- Must design based on a U.S. Blu-ray release: 3173 x 1762 pixels, in English
- Cannot include your name/tag in any way
- Must complete your cover within Febrary 27th - March 19th deadline
- Must not discuss your entry with anyone until the challenge is over, especially the judges.
These files will only be given to the judges. You can, of course, modify/translate/tag your cover however you like when uploading to your site(s) after the competition.
Judges:
- Must plan to have a minimum of one hour open between March 19th - March 26th to review all entries
- Must try to be impartial, even if you recognize a friend's style
- Must not let the inclusion or exclusion of a bar code affect your scoring.
- Must not share the entries with anyone or upload them anywhere
