Ok, so this was a fun little experiment. I didn't actually use many tools nor resources to design this one, but since I'd never done a comedy cover in this style, I thought it would be a good title to practice on. So in some aspects creating this artwork was a challenge, since I deliberately tried to create something that was far from what I usually do.
I forgot to mention in my wip thread that I shamelessly got the idea for trying myself out in this style over the last few months or so, having had the opportunity to scrutinize some of the great designs by our own Big Bunny. Especially the light colors and minimalistic approach of his Groundhog Day cover, which I recalled as one that really stood out in that competition I think it won, but also other designs - gave me some well-needed pointers when deciding on elements/shapes aso. Hope that is ok with you buddy
I would also like to say that I really appreciate the comments and suggestions I had on this wip - so thx guys - you know who you are!
