Is it just the preview or does the spine images look a little dotty

It looks like a filter has been used, to compensate low quality images (or small images been blown up)

yeah the spine looks a bit... hmm... and it also looks a bit stretched heightwise.... but the rest is ok. If it were in WIP I'd suggest some better overlapping, toning, of the various images on the front but its ok as it is.

The images on th spine are blurred and on the second two covers there is a White line running down the left side of the spine... Overall not a bad...

To me there's nothing majorly wrong with the layouts. They look fine but the work is sloppy. Too many different resolution images and what's with the white line on the spin. A little quality control and a critical eye on your part and these would probably pass.
Also it would be nice to see something other than Buffy covers. Don't get me wrong. I love Buffy but these just show us you're a one trick pony. Change it up a bit and show us some other TV series covers (and I don't mean Angel covers) or maybe a few movie covers.

Have to agree with donger,
The layouts are ok but the mixed quality images and the simple mistakes like the white borders down the spines are things that need to be spotted & corrected before showing your work. Also the positioning of the tagline on the back could be better as its a little hard to read when placing bright text on a bright image because they cancel each other out.
Would also like to see the character images on the front blended a little better to get rid of those visible harsh lines, all in all not a bad attempt but could be better if more thought was put into the overall layout imo.

I'm sorry bradbryan, but at this time, we do not feel you qualify for any groups. All of the artists have discussed your work, and generaly feel that while it is good, it is not quite good enough. I would like to see you post in the WIP, and get some tips from some of the great artists we have here. We all have to start somewhere!
