Hey everyone! I have had a Wacom tablet for a couple of years now but never really got it out and used it, but I got inspired by RookerProduction's Kick-a$$ and Jwshaw's The Dark Knight and pulled it out to see what I could do. I ended up picking the film "Watchmen" and chose the character Roscharch to do a painting of. It took about an off-and-off week to finish it, this is my first time so it might not look the best.
When I finished, I added a couple things in the around him/in the background and changed his contrast/brightness a bit. This is what I came up with, hope you like it

I'd say for a first try, it is awfully good!
I do really like the image of him, but TBH, not loving the brick BG... but guess it does match the character's theme. Maybe it's just because it is all so dark that Roscharch kind of gets lost in the BG.
Also, what did you use to create the rain?

Thanks! Hmm, should I brighten everything up more, would that help? And I used a brush for the rain.

I'd say, if the same BG, then brighten it up.
Also, I would say for rain, check out some rain tutorials online, ATM it looks a bit think and blurry, and not quite real. It was never really noticeable on your Blade Runner cover, but on this one it really stands out.

I agree with BPM, Rorschach looks great, but the background doesn't work at all. How about adding street instead of a wall to make it more interesting? I'm not feeling the gradient on the TT either, I'd go with a plain color if I were you

Update! I changed the background and did a couple of other things (TT, smiley pin, changed his color, ect.). Does it look better? Suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Yeah, way better! There's still something bugging me with the text, how about using the same font for the tagline as the TT?

Looks great but I think you should make the character and the tt/tagline a tad smaller.
