How to add Logos as shapes into PS?

Well, this Q is for Kernie, first and foremost, since he's the one who uploaded the Shape collection in the first place


So - How do I add my own collection of logos to the collection/save the logos as shapes?

Yeah, you need Illustrator. You basically open the vector EPS in Illustrator, select it all, and copy and paste into Photoshop as a Shape Layer (a Solid Color layer with a Vector Mask). Select the Vector Mask and go to Edit>Define Custom Shape... and you can add it to the Shape library that is currently open.

If you have logos that you think would be useful to add to my collection, I'd appreciate it if you would send them my way. The only thing I ask is that you don't add 10 new shapes to my existing collection and upload the whole thing as your own. I'd rather just add them to mine and credit you for the contribution. But it sounds like you're just asking for your own personal use, right?
