So, I'm back from my trip, and now I am back to covers!

And while I try to come up with some sort of an idea for the Inter-Site cover, I got an idea for a cover from some of the posters I saw for this film.

This is my start, I plan to add more to the front like names, etc but I'm trying to come up with more ... Maybe some of my trusted friends have some ideas I can't think of ... or tell me if I need a new idea :)

I ended up using the same stars that I used for my Apollo cover because I couldn't find another image of just stars that I liked... The ones in the posters were a bit too subtle, so I didn't use them.

Thoughts?

And here is the 3D:

Also, if anyone knows what font is used on this TT, can you let me know?

Nice start! Intense film!

Don't know if this will help, but it sure is interesting- http://themea.org/wp-content/blogs.dir/1/f...ackSwan2010.pdf

Really good!

It would be cool to have Portman's face blended on the statue (barley)

Posted this over at TCW, but I'll post it here too...

Well, here's another COTM by bpmford!!!! :D :D :D

Damn you, you came back from your trip all rested and full of energy to start an amazing new cover!!!

Sometimes, I hate you and I love you all at the same time!

In all seriousness, this is an awesome start to what will be another outstanding cover! It's delicate, elegant, and grungy at the same time, and I mean all three of those things as an absolute compliment.

Didn't we determine before your trip the font was Mostra Nuova? I think somebody uploaded it here...

Thanks filmaddict for the info, that's great!

And thanks nike, glad you like it so far!

LOL kernie, I saw your message over at worx!... I promise I will do the back really poorly so it won't win! lol ... I don't think I could bring myself to do that.

Maybe the font was determined before, but I didn't remember, so thanks!

Thanks yesh, I agree ;)

Update!

Okay, did some more to the front...

Added the names to the top, added a pool of blood to the ground with reflections, adjusted the colors a bit more to bring them to life a bit (but not too much, and added a small red blood stain to the dancer's abdomen (may not be noticeable in the previews, but it's there :) ).

Thoughts?

Well, got some help in fixing my Names (having Natalie first) from kernie, so here is a small update with the changes...

I am getting informed that my blood puddle may be too clean, so I will see if others think it should be more grungy or different all together, as I can't come up with something different ATM.

I like everything so far, apart from the dried mud. I presume it is relevant to the film (I haven't seen it) but it doesn't fit the vector work for me. And the blood puddle works perfectly for me, but I can understand why people may see it as too clean.
