Cover Resizing

Hey I was wondering why when I download a dvd cover and I try to switch the image size to the blu-ray size it will change the size back. For example the width column I input 3173 in pixels and then the height will automatically adjust it to something else 2130 pixels, so I try and change the height to 1762 pixels and then the width will change to 2625. I've downloaded many dvd covers and re sized them to blu-ray dimension and never had a problem not until I formatted my laptop and reinstalled photoshop cs5. Any help please and thank you.

When you reinstalled cs5 it went back to the defaults. When you resize if you look down at the bottom left there will be a box that says 'Constrain proportions'. If you uncheck that you'll be able to manually size the cover. BUT if you do that the cover will be terribly out of proportion.

You CAN'T resize a dvd to a bluray size. Well you can but it will look like crap ukm...

In any event that's probably what happened..good luck..

Hey thank you so much, I really cant notice the difference maybe a little wider but that's it. I've done it for a few of my blu-rays covers.
