Discuss what you like in here. But try and keep it reasonably civilised!

He was a personal favorite of Bazzah and mine. He also had the distinction of sharing the same age and birthday as me. RIP.

He had a knack for creating an openly joyful screen presence, but that must have been one really, really hard life the guy led. Between his health problems and all of the people who cheated him... it's a terrible shame that someone could create so many smiles for others but have so much pain thrown at him.

Arnold will definitely live on for many years to come, though. What a great character, and an important one.

I remember, I was in Salt Lake City for a business trip several years ago and I stopped in the Cracker Barrell (restaurant) and I sat in the table right next to him. I knew it was him and everything, but I didn't say anything, but of course all the waitresses talked to him and joked with him about playing that little Chinese Checkers game he was playing (and losing).

Very sad. I remember watching Different Strokes when I was at school. If I'd had a bad day " Watchoo talkin bout Willis? " always fetched a smile
to my face, no matter how many times I heard him say it. RIP Gary.

There's only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving, and that's your own self.
