To the other entrant: Kylumi, your covers were brilliant as well. Please post your covers in the show-case thread to get the proper recognition they deserve.

First off I would like to say well done Rob......excellent cover and well deserved win :arms:
But, what absolutely dissappointed me was the complete lack of support/interest from everyone else.
The HRC organizer and a site moderator are the only two entrants!!!!!............whats, the point in Rob wasting his valuable time for the interest of others when, that interest just isn't there.
There is plenty going on in WIP to justify the same kinda effort being put into the HRC comp.
So, come on people give it "bash" and show your support for both Rob and the site.....
This is your cover home make the most of it!!
See, you all in the next HRC challenge

Thank you Kylumi, I couldn't have said it better.
Maybe the last theme was too tough? I've taken the extra step and opened the theme voting to all members of the site this month. Now everyone has a say in what theme gets chosen. So go participate by voting for your favorite theme

Although i agree that i was a bit disappointing to see there where only 3 covers this month.
I think It might have something to do with, that the lower ranked groups aren't really motivated to participate . . .
Obviously the contributor/member group is no match for a master designer.
And getting your a$$ kick every time could not be much fun now can it ?
Why participate in a comp you know you can't win ?
Therefor it might be better to split the comp in a member/contributor voting and a designer/master voting.
BTW Great work from the both of you on some amazing covers

I appreciate your thoughts. Contributors have won the title on more than one occasion. Our last title holder is a contributor himself (congrats again Rein2007).

My guess is time constraints and type of theme are the reasons. Thats why we promote voting on the themes each month. The idea is that members will vote for themes that they could reasonably do themselves. We'll see how next month goes, we have a bunch of pretty mainstream choices to pick from.
