As long as it doesn't $#!t the bed after a month... Insignia's the "Best Buy" brand, right? Anybody know if they're decent or not (I never bothered to look into it)?
I recently went with the $299 PS3, not a bad deal considering it's a BD player, game console, and it's got wi-fi. I recently (like, yesterday) read that Netflix is working to stream through PS3 as well, so that'll be sweet...
But yeah, Irrob, like you said, price is no longer an excuse and really, once you see how amazing things look in Blu, it's hard to watch standard def DVD's anymore (although I will because I don't plan on rebuying my entire collection...)

Personally though I would throw in the extra 40$ and get the Panasonic BD60

My covers may only be viewed on well calibrated screens and printed on well calibrated printers.

Are you referring to Netflix streaming?
I've never seen anything streamed from Netflix (or any other service, for that matter), so I was curious about the quality.
The word "streaming" always bothers me... bad memories of endless "buffering" make me nervous about this whole streaming thing...I'd rather wait 20 minutes (heck, even an hour) for something to completely download rather than watching something that starts and stops 80 times while it "streams."
Is that how Netflix streaming is? Cause if so, I'm not as thrilled then...
