Hey everyone!
The kylumi competition is about to become a regular monthly feature. So, be prepared for me to offer you some unexpected and maybe, completely bizarre challenges.

First of so that there can be no confusion....As the voting begins for the Main HRC competition, then the kylumi competition will begin. Got it, good, OK then.

Secondly, due to a very kind management offer, this competition will come with prizes...yes, prizes. The Winner of each monthly comp will be able to choose from either, a kylumi signed photograph OR movie of their own choosing from Amazon [just remember not to go silly here guys 100 disc box-sets are not in the remit]...but, a nice single DVD/Blu-Ray movie is and, maybe your wife or girlfriend would prefer the signed photograph anyway? :arms:
Oh! and, I will be chucking in some Blu-Cases too............

OK, on with the show....whats going down this Month?
We are asking you to design a wholly original DVD/Blu-Ray cover without the use of Poster Art……YOUR MAIN IMAGE FOR THE FRONT COVER MUST BE EITHER A DOOR and/or WINDOW, you may add any other elements you like, Water, Trees, Roads, Flowers, Hearts, you name it (as, long as it does not belong to the movie you can use it) Have you got what it takes?. Yes, of course you have, so come and join us in this Unique Cover Design Competition which is open to ALL-COMERS!

The Rules are simple too……

1. The front of your cover must be produced using your own conceptual art and design ideas without the assistance of POSTER ART in any way, shape or form! NO MOVIE RELATED IMAGES FOR THE FRONT COVER AT ALL!
2. You may use "still" images for the back part of your cover design only.
3. You may use unrelated photographic imagery.
4. You may use original Titles/Title Treatments/Fonts etc.
5. You may use any tool, plug-in or method provided within your software.
6. You may use multiple-software.
7. You may use Vector Designs [as long as they do not form any part of the original poster art].
8. The title of your cover must be locatable at IMDB.
9. You may submit as many cover designs as you like.
10. There will be only one winner [decided by a member’s poll].

You may not:

7. You may not use any form of poster art or parts therein for the front cover design.
8. You may not use another artists work and/or artistic work which is searchable through the Internet. e.g. Deviant Art. etc.

Start Date: Sunday, Noon GMT: August 16th 2009

Completion time: Tuesday, Noon GMT: September 1st 2009

Submissions: Please send your completed designs to; [email protected]

Voting: Conducted by members poll.

As always good luck to everyone and may the best cover win!!!
