Started this one today, and so far front/spine are 99% done.
Cloned the front image and added some clouds to extend the image. Add a gradient color to the boys at the front and the usual typography with a few fonts.

Does this work?

I think it looks great Ark. I like the blend of colour & b/w.

Actually the darkness seems right. But I wonder how a hue of red leaning just very slightly more toward orange looks.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Rob not sure about the orange tone, the idea was to match the red of the banner and the title treatment. But will try it and post both to compare.

Front and spine are done, just now testing some different colors to the city (Rob's advice)

wow, you started with the front this time :)

amazing work as usual arky. Only thing that's dragging it down a little is the title treatment imo, unless you can show me a 1:1 that changes my mind.
My covers may only be viewed on well calibrated screens and printed on well calibrated printers.

:lolboard: haha NO Felipe. Not flat out orange! Let me rephrase...just a slightly warmer shade of red than you had. The title treatment and banner would have to be changed too. just a suggestion. dont get me wrong, the current red looks good. Just feels i've seen this shade of red many times before... :chin:

this looks pretty good so far Felipe...

Out of the 2 i actually prefer the orange one it seems to compliment
the fire burning from the car... Just my opinion though lol
