You can use this link to go to the survey's page, or you can also use the link from the main page. That link will be visible once nominations open at midnight GMT.

There are instructions on the survey's page, and should be self explanatory. Let me know if it is unclear in anyway.

Also, unfortunately, the instructions are in English only. Maybe a few of our multi-lingual members can provide some common translations for us inside this topic? That would be greatly appreciated!

If you have any problems with the survey, post a reply in this topic, or send me a PM. FYI, if you find a cover you want to nominate, but cannot find the nominate link - here is a quick troubleshooting list:
1) Do you have nominations turned on? Go to the survey page (link above) and look for "Gallery Nominations for You ARE OFF - Click Here to TURN ON". Click on that link. If it says "Gallery Nominations for You ARE ON", then this is not the problem.
2) Was the cover uploaded during 2008? Under file information for each gallery entry is "Date added:" - make sure that it was added in 2008.
3) Is it after midnight GMT yet?

Please verify those three items before posting a reply or sending me a PM about an item.

Final note: I have set up this survey to be completely "blind" - that means you will NOT know what covers the other members are nominating, and when voting starts, same thing. We will see how that works...we may go with blind nominations but then open up voting...

Nope. If they are good enough for consideration, then they will make it to the vote by way of nominations. Monthly winners are either for items that have gone through WIP or items entered into the HRC. I'll bet there are items out there that did not go through one of those two routes that should be considered for voting.

Searched all 458 pages of 2008 covers and finally found my 10 nominees

I've made my nominations as well. And it took going through the entire cover database to find 10 I thought were truly worthy. Who knew it would be so hard.
