Thanks, DS!! I watched the trailer and the preview on the Apocalypse Blu-ray, but that's about it. I'm looking forward to it, as these DC Universe movies seem to have finally found their footing and have been getting much better than their earlier efforts (like Superman: Doomsday and New Frontier). I'm most excited for Batman: Year One, though!

Just a note on the Collection Count, I hope it doesn't seem arrogant or like I'm trying to brag, I'm mainly doing it so I can easily keep track of how many I've made. It got to be a real pain when I only posted the count every so often and I'd end up getting confused and having to go back and count the spines on my spine preview... ugh. It wasn't so bad for the DVD's, because there's 50 in a row, but the Blu-ray's don't follow that same pattern so it was frustrating to have to always count them...

I don't mean to stir the pot, and by mentioning this I probably am. Your Green Lantern cover just showed up on R1DB today. Someone is still stealing and I don't know how many people have downloaded that one, but it should be an easy find.

Just thought everyone would like to know,

great cover can't wait to add this into my collection almost full transferred most of my covers into yours, still have quite a few to go.

have you seen seen to the new G.I. Joe or Transfer cartoon, I think they're horrible don't like the animation or the story lines.
But anyways great cover your stuff is starting to fill my shelves nicely. I'm hoping this movie turns out to be really good but because i'm a fanatic i'll most likely get it anyways.

Eh... what are ya gonna do? I hope they like my stolen $hit over there... :D

And RRJR... I'm not a big G.I. Joe or Transformers 'toon fan so I haven't seen them (don't think I've seen any of them since I was a kid, actually). Although I'm waiting for that new Thundercats toon...

I have all the original Thunder cats and they're great so i hope the re-make will do it justice. There's not a lot of remake cartoons that do justice. The last one I saw that was really good was He-man (2002). When is thunder cats suppose to start?

Next year (2011), I think. But I think Cartoon Network's airing it, and they don't have the greatest track record with scheduling things... :(

At the moment, I have a 12-page paper to write this week, so updates may slow down a bit, but anyone want to take a guess at what's to come?? (You'll win nothing if you guess right... but it might remind me of something I forgot!) :D :D :D

Oh I quiet liked Doomsday, New Frontier though didn't really pull any strings for me. To be honest though I'm getting a little tired of DC just concentrating on Superman and Batman, it would be nice if they varied the characters a bit more, bring some other of the lesser known character into the limelight so to speak. Yes I know that some have appear in the Showcases, and Green Lantern and Wonder Woman have had there own features, but if you look at Batman: The Bold and the Brave the variety of characters that have appeared in that show, there are so many that could have there own features.

Also I can't understand why they are taking so blooming long to release all the episode titles for Brave and the Bold Season 2, the show should have finish months ago, I know there are one 1 or 2 more episodes to air, but still a full episode list would have been nice, you may not like the show, but I find it quite good actually :)

And no your not bragging, but it does look like I am actually :) the shelves I have mine on fit 25 dvd cases on each so it's easy to count and I've only just recently bought a Blu-ray player, so I only have 3 blu-rays at present, lol. I'm not going to start replacing all my dvds for blu-rays, it was different with dvd and vhs, but I don't think dvds are going to disappear any time soon.

I liked Doomsday and New Frontier, I just think the newer stuff is better. I don't dislike Brave & Bold, I just haven't had the time or strong desire to catch up with it, but I've seen a few eps and they were okay.

I think the reason Superman and Batman get so much attention is cuz the Wonder Woman and GL movies underperformed sales-wise and WB would rather make films that sell. So, blame the general public for that one. It sucks, but I see Warners point, they're a business after all. Look at my Dc collection and count how many titles Superman and Batman appear in. It's always been this way, the only time other heroes usually get attention is Superfriends or JL stuff. Say what you will about Marvel, but they've done a better job getting their lesser heroes into the limelight (how much of a household name was Iron Man before the movie?).

I agree about DVDs not goin away, but haven't bought too many since switching to Bluray last year. But it's nice that the disc format seems like it will hang around for a little while longer and we don't have to rebuy our whole collections. I think the next step is some sort of digital download, but I don't see that becoming widespread until the technology catches up a bit and downloads can include all the extra features of a DVD and Bluray.
