The Comic Book Collection by Kernie
I can't thank you enough for this Kernie, your my comic book hero, lol I didn't think you;d ever get time or the resources for this and I was going to take a crack at it. But now that this fantastic work is complete I guess I don't need to.
Your work never stops amazing me and everyday i end up adding more and more of your stuff not just comic books either. Your my fav artist on this site Kernie never stop this wonderful hobby.

Please remember to comment AND rate if you like my stuff. With a collection this large, I check those types of stats to see what's popular and it influences what I do next. If you don't want to take the few seconds it takes to type a quick comment and click a star rating, that's fine I guess, but I don't think it's a lot to ask considering how much time I've taken to make the covers for you gentle folks.

I Think my favorites are the marvel cartoons that haven't released in Canada or the US yet. The ones where the artwork was hard to find.
- Incredible Hulk 90's
- Incredible Hulk 82
- Avenger's 90's
- Spider-Man unlimited and Spectacular Spider-man .
Either way I love all your covers. i've replaced almost all my Marvel and DC cartoons with your covers even some movies.
I went and got all the Super friends just to use your covers. Even other movies like the Shadow and The Phantom.
I still working towards other like the Punisher and The Crow movies.
Bottom line Kernie is your a fantastic artist and even if there's only a select group of people that download your comic covers just know that there are people who love your artwork.

Thanks RRJR (and felipe-11), I appreciate that.
I guess I just wish more people chimed in on the conversation here. There's a few regulars (you, Darksaber, Punisherchad, etc.) who stick with this collection and share their thoughts (I enjoy hearing what others think about the actual movies/shows themselves, rather than my covers). It's tough to stay motivated when it seems like less than 10 people actually look at covers that I spend hours on (and believe me, each cover does take several hours).
I realize the major movies and shows have already been covered, and I understand that "El Superbeasto" will probably not draw as much attention as "Iron Man," so I get that most members have already gotten all they hope to get out of this collection and moved on. But it's the select group of people that still care that makes me want to work hard to continue making these covers. So believe me when I say that it's the few remaining fans that are really keeping this collection alive. I really do value your continued interest.
It's been tough lately, I haven't had a lot of time to spend on this hobby and it's even harder to keep my ambition going when I slave over a cover and three people actually look at it. Maybe this template's run its course, or nobody's interested in "Tank Girl," but a few extra people joining in the conversation here wouldn't hurt... so members who've been silent, speak up please.![]()

Even if you don't want to talk about my covers, let's keep a dialogue going about the movies and shows with which we all share a common interest. Talk about the Walking Dead and how it sucks that we only get six amazing episodes to hold us over until next fall, or the Green Lantern trailer, or Thor and Captain America...
I'll always be chiming in with my thoughts. Because... well... would I make this collection if I didn't love comic book movies, tv shows, and cartoons?

I always enjoy the new additions to your collection, Andrew - I just don't wanna say ooo and aaaa every time. Need to make a few posts myself too, y'know
Anyways - you already know that several of your TV covers have found their way unto my shelf. :arms:
Still wondering about the first season of 'The Adventures of Superman' with the wide spine, tho :P
Would be nice to see your face pop into other ppl's wip once in awhile threads now and then to give a few pointers and helpful advise

A designer knows he has achieved perfection - not when there's nothing left to add - but when there's nothing left to take away

I realize I need to do more of that. I'm definitely going to try to improve in helping others' WIPs, just haven't had much time lately.
Most of the time, someone else has already given the same advice, or I'd nitpick the cover to death and feel bad about it, or I feel they don't really need my help.Last edited by Kernie on Sun Nov 28, 2010 3:56 pm, edited 1 time in total.
Kernie's posted in a lot of my WIPS and showcase's.
Anyways to start a conservation about shows I still haven't had the chance to check out the walking dead but I hear nothing but good things about it so that's great when i find the time I'll check it you.
However I have been following The Avengers and I am really impressed it's fantastic show it's better than The 90's Avengers cartoon and the two animated movies.
It's really does seem like Marvels version of Justice League Unlimited with all the characters but that's one of things I really like about it. I hope it's last longer than the other recent marvels shows like Wolverine and The X-men and Spectacular Spider-man.

Two of my all time favorite covers are your G.I. Joe Rise of Cobra cover (insane cover!) and your 90s Batman animated series covers (as a whole), I'm sure you own a lot of people's "favorite cover"
