Wow, getting better and better! The back in particular is stellar, you managed to create a sense of comic book fun without turning it into a cartoon.

On the bottom space on the front, would it be possible to further extend that landscape, or is there any additional text you can think of to add down there? In a sense, it works perfectly because your eye goes directly to Superman, but just a little bit of something down there to prevent it from being fully black might enhance the scene even further.

Thanks! But I have to give part of the glory to kernie, as I'm using elements from our collab cover for The Amazing Spider-Man. The stills row was originally conceived by kernie, I simply changed it for this cover. A few overlays bears his signature too. Unfortunately I am alone on this (and the upcoming Marvel movies collection) as kernie don't have neither time nor inclination to start on another collection, when he already made the Ultimate collection! ;)

Yea, I think I need something on the bottom half of the front too, TIm. I'll add a comic book barcode, and try to fill the empty space somehow.

Also forgot about adding hair details to the back characters, which will be be remedied by the next update. :)

And thanks for the wonderful comments and suggestions so far! :thumb:

exceptional, especially taking account the resources, but I gotta know, what tool did you use for the tag extrusion, is that eye candy, shadow, or something I'm missing from PS itself? Pray tell.

Thanks a lot m8 - I dunno why I always post from very early start, but it does kinda makes the whole thread into sort of a story :)

This is pretty good. Just about matches the Spider-man cover in it's comic book-ness. As good as can be done given the limited resources. Is there some layer bleed into Jimmy Olsen's face? Or is that intentional?

@Irrob - yes, you are right. I have an overlay, that needs to be softly deleted around the edges, where it overlaps the faces of the characters. Nicely spotted!
