It is nothing like Battle Royale. I have not seen Battle Royale, but I know what it is about. This movie they are literally walking down a road, with things happening to cause them to quit. The last one left standing (or waling) wins. This makes it sound boring, but it really isn't.

I just realized that one of the main character is the son of Philip Seymour Hoffman. He is definitely just as talented as his father if not more.

War Machine (2026) - 2/10
Spoiler Block
I always seem to repeat myself, but as usual the movie started off decent as a war movie.
It quickly became a movie about the main character becoming an US Ranger. About 30 minutes in, it becomes an alien movie, where these soldiers that are that are on trails to become rangers are now fighting an alien spaceship transformer...
A little later in the movie as they are chased by the transformer, they need to cross a very powerful river. One of the soldiers are injured and carried on a stretcher. They decide to drag him over as they climb a rope to cross the river. The rope has been extended so it has a knot in the middle. The stretcher gets caught on the knot.

While crossing the river the transformer "sneaks" up on them, only some 50 meters away. How they did not hear this big metallic transformer type robot getting close to them (oh yeah, it can BREAK mountains by the way) is beyond me.

It takes them an hour to figure out that it's not a "war machine" but actually an alien from from another planet.
The car they are driving (which have rubber wheels) can take a million shots and bombs without it ever stopping.
Spoiler Block[attachment=51366:jesus.jpg]
The movie ends with our super soldier carrying one of his fellow soldiers far into the camp without anyone asking to help him (the guy can hardly walk).

I swear to god, movies wasn't this bad back in the day. Turn off all logic and the movie is a 2/10 MAX. I should have checked the trailer (hopefully it shows how bad this movie is). You'd be better of watching paint dry than watching this thing.

Haha! I can recommend it, if you turn it on and then go for a two hour trip outside with your dog

I guess I'll skip this one.

- You should have watched The Long Walk instead.
Tonight, I would like to watch Nuremberg. Have you guys seen it yet?

How did I miss Nuremberg.. Added it to my list.
Legend (2015) - 7/10
I just watched this earlier today. I'd just seen the bar scene beforehand and it looked like an awesome movie, kinda like Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels.
It was very good and also based on a true story which is really cool, but I was hoping for a little more of the clever bar fight stuff.
All in all, a pretty good film that I can recommend to everyone

7/10 sounds about right for Legend. It was a good movie. I doubt Chewie will ever see it though
