Sorry I misread you... I'm kind of indifferent to the "30 Days of Night" franchise. I watched the first film and didn't love it, didn't hate it. It was just kind of "there," much like Josh Hartnett himself.

I'll watch for Ms. Baird and probably for Kiele Sanchez, but admittedly, I didn't start liking her character on "Lost" until after they buried her alive. :D :D

That'll teach you to blind buy! :D :D Netflix is your friend... :laughin: :laughin:

Josh Hartnett was the bomb in the Faculty yo... :)

Nikki and Paolo deserved to be poison spider bite paralyze burried! I think I was just excited for a new Crow movie, I sold it and went and got Constantine (came out same day).

I think I soured on Hartnett when I heard the plot to "40 Days and 40 Nights." I mean, seriously...

I've only seen the first Crow movie (I think I saw the second, but don't remember it), but aren't they all the same basic plot... loving couple is murdered, male lover comes back to life via a mysterious crow, and takes revenge on those who killed him and his girlfriend? It seems about as formulaic as an episode of "Scooby-Doo." I guess I just prefer sequels that continue the story and not rehash the same story with different characters (although I understand they couldn't exactly continue the Brandon Lee/Eric Draven story from the first one).

Not trying to bash the Crow movies necessarily, but that's just what it seems like to me... :ashamed: :P

Great additions! And the Gen 13 cover looks great with the comic book artwork, you shouldn't hesitate to use it when there's no resources (I only used comic book artwork for my own Marvel set a few years ago :D )

Well, I think the reason Gen13 worked with comic book art is because it was an animated movie that didn't alter the basic character designs and uniforms. I think it is more difficult with a live-action movie, especially one that drastically alters the look of the characters and tone of the comic book.

While I'm sure covers could look awesome using only comic book art, I think I've established a particular style with my collection and I'm still hesitant to use comic art on a frequent basis. It's probably something I'd consider on a cover-by-cover basis.

By the way, I'd love to see your comic-art-only covers, where are they?!? (I can't find them in the gallery) :( :(

Oh yeah, I meant only on animated stuff of course :D This particular Gen13 cover reminded me of your animated X-Men set (which I know is official DVD artwork, but it has more of a comic book style than other covers).

As for my own covers, I only uploaded them to another cover site (they were pretty bad anyways), and I stopped making them anyways after I saw your set
But here's a preview of my X-Men set (on this particular set I dunno why I decided to make a "spanning front").

As you can see it's pretty lame and was just a 3-volume set for my own bootlegs (official releases weren't even announced back then :cussing: )

Here's two more updates...

Following up on my Black Freighter covers, here is the last of the Watchmen movie supplements: "Watchmen: The Complete Motion Comic." I still haven't gotten around to wading through this 5-hour glorified powerpoint, but seriously... how bad must literacy in our society have fallen when we need to watch a comic book on our TV screens? This even makes audio books seem justified...

Also, the Watchmen Motion Comic is a rare exception in which I plan to make a cover for a motion comic, as it had a fairly well-promoted release. I have absolutely no intentions of covering other web-based motion comics.

Anyway, here are the covers, in both Blu-ray and DVD...

Here's one for the ladies. I don't think anyone expected this... "Aquaman: The Pilot Episode." I just realized the other day that the pilot is included on the Blu-ray of "Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths" and I decided to check it out. All things considered, I kind of wish it would have gotten picked up, as it did seem to have a fair share of potential (although I worry what it would have done to Smallville without Justin Hartley's Green Arrow). I also remembered that WB made this available on iTunes as well as on DVD as a Best Buy exclusive when you bought a season of Smallville, so I decided to add it to the collection.

Enjoy!! :D :D :D

Didn't expect you to make the watchmen motion comic, I think you said a while back that you wasn't going to, but anyhow it's much appreciated that you have, and oh ,you won't be getting any requests from me for any other motion comic, a fine addition though, thanks :)

And it is a surprise, I wouldn't have even considered asking for a cover for a single pilot episode of Aquaman, so again thank you :) I would have like to have seen how it might have panned out :)
