My problem with that option is that I have a hard time understanding the European French accent...
And while I'm here, I watched The Naked Gun with Liam Neeson and would give it a solid 2 as rating. I'm not sure why it rates so high on IMDb, but I strongly disagree with their ratings, lol - Liam Neeson should stay away from comedy. Actually, he should retire.

I completely agree with you. I didn't even laugh once, not even a smile. I actually found it appalling. In short, it was truly awful. The real Frank Drebin must be turning in his grave. Not everyone can be Leslie Nielsen. Besides, I think that kind of humor doesn't work anymore; it was a different era.

I agree with you two, even tho I haven't seen it yet, I'm pretty sure it will have nothing on the original ones. I don't understand why they need to bring these titles back from the dead, instead of starting something new. I guess the next thing we'll get will be a remake of the Police Academy?

Finestkind (2024) 4/10
After watching the trailer for this movie, I was quite intrigued, so I went and gave it a watch. I've seen a lot of Deadliest Catch throughout the years and it's a show I quite like (altho, I just watch it if it happens to be on), and this movie seemed to be going on the same path, at least from the look of the trailer.
It did also start of pretty good and was a very decent film for at least half of it, but then as it almost always do, it goes south. It starts of as a "blue collar" kind of movie about fishermen, then they add a little bit of a love story in there and then comes the drugs and lastly the murders. The main cast goes from doing stupid decisions, one after the other which is what makes this movie a "bad one, that I'll never watch again" for me. 4/10 is very kind, or should I say "finestkind" ^^,

The only reason I would have watched this, is because of Tommy Lee Jones. Thanks to your review, I will not be watching it

Greenland (2020) 7/10
I am a sucker for end-of-the-world themed movies, and with the second part coming out soon, I decided to watch Greenland. And it was quite enjoyable. It is nothing new, or groundbreaking, but it is an enjoyable sci-fi thriller that kept me mostly entertained. This is one of those easy watch movies, that you can enjoy without a lot of concentration. And unlike other movies of this genre, it is fairly realistic. Although I use the word realistic loosely. But it doesn't have planes taking off on exploding runways, or everyday citizens landing on meteors in space. Overall, a good movie to watch after a long day.

Good review, I remember watching this one myself, and I gave it a 6/10.

Same as you my friends.
I remember watching it when it first came out, because I really like
Gerard Butler, but I didn't enjoy it that much.
The idea was good, but logically speaking, there's little chance they'd all get together after all the adventures they go through in the film.
But why not, after all?
Besides, I wasn't in the best frame of mind at the time.
And like Baz, since the sequel is coming out in a few days, I rewatched it earlier this week.
And actually, it works quite well.
That 6/10-7/10 rating is also accurate, in my opinion.
